Elizabeth Bowen, MA

East Atlanta Counseling, Decatur, GA

I am passionate about partnering with individuals and couples on their journey towards holistic healing that leads to generational change. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and understand that pain can present itself in many different ways. My practice is trauma focused and works with individuals that are experiencing anxiety, addiction, depression, disordered eating, and attachment and relational issues.

I operate from a holistic, strength based approach. You can expect me to offer a genuine, safe space marked by curiosity, connectedness, and collaboration.

I am committed to helping each one of my clients meet their goals and am honored to offer a safe space for all people regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, size, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, and abilities.

I have completed the Internal Family Systems (IFS) circle training and level one certification. I am also trained in Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and am a HAES-aligned (Health At Every Size), eating disorder informed clinician.

I admire the bravery that it takes to consider counseling and I would love to walk alongside you as you begin to invest in yourself.
